They make recommendations for improvements that will help the property in the long term and make the tenants quite happy in the short term.   </div> <div> <br/> </div> <div> Lexington also goes the extra mile, to say the least. During one rainstorm, for example, Doug called me from the property where he was standing knee deep in water and mud because the drainage was not working. It was so bad that there was a chance the water was going to damage the cars in the garage and spill into the laundry room. He and his teamed worked tirelessly into the night to make sure that the water did not cause any damage to the property. While there, Doug happened to replace several burnt out bulbs and inspected the roof. If I remember correctly, he and his lovely wife were supposed to go out for dinner that night when he got the call about the drain problem. He was there for 8 hours, and he didn't get home until after midnight. They have made it possible for my husband and I to stay in our house! The dining room is now a bedroom and Lexington installed handicapped bars in the downstairs bathroom so my husband does not have to go upstairs anymore. If it wasn’t for Margaret Ahern’s can do attitude, my husband and I would be living in a senior citizen’s home. They do everything from changing filters and fixing things that break to paying our bills and making sure our insurance doesn’t expire. I love the look on contractor’s faces when I tell them they have to review the bids with my property manager. They are very responsive, quick in availability, and help problem solve any situation that appears. My children are relieved that they no longer have to worry about us being taken advantage of by dishonest roofers, landscapers, electricians and plumbers!
